STYLING
The sedan body style has somewhat lost its allure in the past few years, mainly thanks to the introduction of more sultry SUVs and coupe SUVs. Yet, the 3 Series and C-Class have remained some of the most stylish options out there – especially when equipped with their respective M Sport or AMG bodykits.
Taste is obviously completely subjective and ultimately depends on whether you’re a fan of the brand. Both vehicles feature the typical “three-box” sedan styling (bonnet, cabin, boot), but whereas the BMW is more sporty and angular, the Mercedes relies on curves to garner its attention.
INTERIOR
In an effort to keep up with the new C-Class, BMW recently gave the 3 Series a substantial facelift. Inside you’ll find an overhauled dashboard with an impressive dual-screen setup consisting of an infotainment- and cockpit display. The system runs the brand’s latest iDrive system, meaning responsive feedback and wireless connectivity.
