Ordenar el caos de sus relaciones familiares e íntimas y encontrarle un sentido a su vida llevaron a Sara a probar la terapia transpersonal. Fue ella quien me habló por primera vez de este método en el que, según sus terapeutas, se abordan las necesidades mentales, físicas, sociales, emocionales, creativas e intelectuales de las personas.
En el caso de Sara, identificó que desde su niñez siempre ha buscado la aprobación de su madre, y eso lo trasladó a todas las cosas que hacía en su vida. Buscaba que la aprobaran en la escuela, los amigos, su pareja, en su trabajo... hasta que decidió vencer ese miedo, se reconoció y aceptó, restableció su unidad, su integridad para valorarse y amarse desde el fondo, desde esa niña hasta la Sara que es hoy.

“Transpersonal significa ‘más allá de la persona’. Trabajamos con las características del inconsciente individual y colectivo. A través de las teorías de los autores que fundaron esta corriente (Abraham Maslow y Anthony Sutich), nosotros vamos al trasfondo no solo de los problemas, sino también de las soluciones”, explica Patricia Palacios, psicoterapeuta del Centro de Desarrollo Transpersonal.
