Ange's Need For Peace I Want My Family To Heal

As the bitter custody battle between Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt enters its sixth year, the Maleficent actress has thrown more fuel onto the fire.

In a startling new interview, Angelina says she had fears at the end of her marriage to Brad and that she felt “broken” by the experience.

When asked if she feared for the safety of her children, she answered, “Yes, for my family. My whole family.”

The actress – who shares Maddox, 20, Pax, 17, Zahara, 16, Shiloh, 15, and twins Vivienne and Knox, 13, with World War Z actor Brad– then added, “I’m not the kind of person who makes decisions like the decisions I had to make lightly. It took a lot for me to be in a position where I felt I had to separate from the father of my children.”

In September 2016, Angelina filed for divorce from Brad after the A-lister got into a stoush with the then 15-year-old Maddox on the family’s private jet as it sat on the tarmac of a US airport.

The actor admitted having an alcohol problem and that he had yelled at one of the children, but he has always denied being physically abusive to them and the FBI cleared him of any wrongdoing.
