The Plymouth born-Olympic diving star, 27, told the Guardian about how he developed the eating disorder after being told by sports experts that he needed to shed the pounds.
He recalled how in 2012, the year of the London Olympics, he made himself sick as he became obsessed with his weight.
Tom admitted that prior to that, he had a 'seriously unhealthy relationship' with food and it led to him weighing himself every day to see if he had lost another pound or two.
