If a proposal sent by the Director-General of Police's (DGP) office to the state home department is approved, it would certainly bring some relief to the police officials who perform duties under tremendous stress and often have to cancel their leaves and also forced to work on holidays to perform their duties.

If a proposal sent by the Director-General of Police's (DGP) office to the state home department is approved, it would certainly bring some relief to the police officials who perform duties under tremendous stress and often have to cancel their leaves and also forced to work on holidays to perform their duties. The police department has sent a proposal to the state government to give one-month extra salary to the police officials for performing duty during government holidays during the year.
