Tragic mum killed by runaway car

'Huge loss' as Marguerite dies in street horror

THIS is the tragic mum of four who died after a car ran her down on a footpath before smashing through a shop window.

Marguerite Kilfeather, who was in her early 70s, was pronounced dead at the scene after the Ford went out of control in Sligo town killing the pensioner and hitting another walker.

The other injured pedestrian, a man, was rushed to Sligo University Hospital where he is said to be stable, with a suspected broken shoulder.
