PRESIDENT Vladimir Putin has renewed fears of a nuclear conflict by issuing a chilling warning that Russia will "respond accordingly" if ammunition containing depleted uranium is sent to Ukraine.
The warmonger was accused of "trying to disinform" in a reckless escalation of tensions by claiming the West "is starting to use weapons with a nuclear component".
UK junior defence minister Baroness Goldie revealed on Monday it will send armour-piercing rounds containing the low-grade radioactive material to bolster Kyiv's forces.
