HUGE SCOPE ..HUGE HOPE

GRAEME JONES will be in charge for Newcastle's next two games and has given the new owners a blueprint for a Toon manager.

Jones has stepped up as caretaker for today's trip to Crystal Palace and next Saturday's visit of Chelsea following the sacking of Steve Bruce.

The 51-year-old Geordie, who was Bruce's assistant, has been assured by director Amanda Staveley that he will keep his job when a new head coach is appointed.

Belgium boss Roberto Martinez, who Jones worked with at three clubs, is in the running, along with Paulo Fonseca and Frank Lampard among others.
