UP NEXT: UFC Vegas 32, Sunday, 12am. TJ Dillashaw, a two-time bantamweight champion, returns from a doping ban to take on Cory Sandhagen.

DON’T MISS: Flyweight hot prospects Miranda Maverick and Maycee Barber clash in what should be an entertaining bout.

FINAL SAY: “Two more fights (to earn a lightweight title shot)? Doesn’t matter how many, I’m going to smash everybody. No matter who’s next, I’m going to be ready.” Islam Makhachev, who is trained by Khabib Nurmagomedov, after his submission win over Thiago Moises.

MIESHA TATE got the mother of all comebacks off to a winning start at UFC Vegas 31.

Before Sunday’s third-round TKO victory over Marion Reneau, Tate, 34, had last stepped into the octagon in November 2016.

Back then the former bantamweight champion had just lost twice in a row – to Raquel Pennington and Amanda Nunes – and decided to hang up her gloves.
