BORIS Johnson has said "no option is off the table" to tackle rising living costs, as pressure grows on the Tory government to impose a windfall tax on oil and gas firms.
The one-off levy on company profits proposed by Labour would raise £2billion to help hard-up households facing surging energy bills.
The Prime Minister said that he was "not attracted intrinsically to new taxes" but promised he could and would do more, and added that the government was "going to put our arms round people" to help.
