Lockdown has hastened the digital age – we are working, shopping and even dating remotely so much more since the pandemic struck.
But just like vinyl made a resurgence, old communication is also back as more people have been sending handwritten letters to keep in contact with loved ones.
While letters through the post have fallen, posties have noticed they are delivering many more handwritten envelopes and fewer typed corporate statements.
Schoolchildren have been sending messages to pensioners in care homes and friends have been sending letters to keep in touch.
During the first few weeks of lockdown, Christina Lessani began sending friends handmade cards to brighten their day.
