Lawyers for Covid denier Debbie Hicks had argued she was a “guerrilla journalist” who had a right to freedom of expression.
But she was found guilty of using threatening words or behaviour likely to cause harassment after magistrates heard she pointed her phone camera at the two therapists and was “aggressive and dismissive”.
Kate Williams and Sophie Brown said they felt “distressed and intimidated” after the confrontation.
They had challenged Hicks after spotting her acting suspiciously in a stairwell at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital.
