The one thing I always knew I wanted to do was act,” says 23-year-old Amyra Dastur. That’s the drive and passion that took a ‘complete tomboy’ from boarding school halls to the big glamorous world of showbiz. After making her debut in Issaq, an adaptation of William Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet, she took the southern route and shone in Tamil film Anegan opposite Dhanush. She’s now coming to a screen near you through Kung Fu Yoga alongside Jackie Chan.
