There are an insane amount of innovation and hacks in the tech industry and we decided to take look at what have been the changes in the smartphone category. These are the famous Tech hacks which brands came up with in order to integrate innovation without reducing the user’s experience.

NOTCH

Back in 2017, smartphone began arriving with a slimmer bezel both on top and bottom. But manufacturers were not stopping there, they started working to completely eliminate the bezel. While eliminating bezel was not a big deal, replacement of camera and phone speaker was the biggest challenge. Essential, an American Mobile came up with the notch concept. They added a notch which has a camera and speaker. Though it was not a pure bezel-less smartphone, it did start notch trend. The notch was actually started trending when the most popular brand Apple launched its 10th-anniversary phone - Apple iPhone X. It was the first smartphone which actually started the notch trend. After the iPhone X release, most of the brands started making notch based smartphones.
