There are some folk who, whatever life chucks at ’em, come up smelling of roses. And there are others, like Abi, who always end up face down in the mud.

The mechanic was at the back of the queue when God was giving out peace and happiness, and this week her brief period of bliss comes to a juddering halt when Kevin finds out she cheated on him.

The timing couldn’t be more cruel. After recently becoming Mrs Webster, Abi’s due to get the icing on her cake by adopting Kevin’s son Jack. The boys couldn’t be more excited, and they surprise the blonde by revealing they’ve booked a holiday to Bridlington for after the adoption hearing.
