6 In the Bell Walk shopping precinct, next to Bridge Cottage, are some rather charming wooden sculptures, depicting links to the London, Brighton and South Coast Railway. The artist is Reece Ingram, who used trees that fell during the great storm of 1987. This one depicts a fishmonger, representing the relatively easy access to fresh food the railways gave us.
