She may seem like Prince Harry’s perfect wife, but Meghan Markle wasn’t always so wholesome. In her book The Diary of Princess Pushy’s Sister, Meghan’s estranged sibling Samantha Markle alleges that the former Suits actress, 40, cheated on her first husband, film producer Trevor Engleson. “We heard through the grapevine that Meg was involved with someone on the show,” Samantha writes. An insider confirms there were affair whispers: “Then she dumped Trevor out of the blue and just moved all her stuff out of the house. It took him years to get over her.”

Back then, Meghan was known as a love-’em-and-leave-’em type. “Men would come and go,” dishes the insider. “She’d hook up with guys and wake up the next morning thinking, ‘What have I done?’ Being faithful was not at the top of her list of priorities.”

The insider says the Duchess also dabbled in drugs. “Pot was illegal in California when Meghan was in her twenties, but that didn’t stop her,” the insider reveals, claiming that the star also got high at her 2012 Jamaican wedding. “By the end of the night most of the guests were rolling around in hysterics.”

No stranger to high jinks (hello, naked Vegas photos), Harry, 37, knows about some of the skeletons in Meghan’s closet, but not all. “They’re an open and honest couple, but they don’t know everything about each other,” says the insider of the pair, who share Archie, 2, and Lilibet, 6 months. “Meghan is prim and proper now, but she definitely went through a wild-child phase.”
