‘I'm excited to celebrate my mum body and see what it's still got!'

Pussycat Doll Kimberly Wyatt talks turning 40, taking to the ice and pushing her limits with hubby Max Rogers by her side

Most of us know Kimberly Wyatt as the boundary-pushing, body-popping firecracker from the Pussycat Dolls. And although she’s still determined to smash past her limits, fans can expect to see her in a very different light as she straps on her skates for this year’s Dancing On Ice.

When we caught up with the star, she was still hopeful the Dolls’ delayed world tour would go ahead. But sadly for fans, hopes of a reunion were dashed on 7 January when bandmate Nicole Scherzinger announced that it was cancelled.

Missouri-born Kim may have found fame with her steamy performances as a commercial dancer but model hubby Max Rogers tells new this isn’t the full story. “Kim’s background is in ballet and contemporary,” he says during our exclusive shoot. “On Dancing On Ice, she’ll be able to show a side that people won’t have seen before.”

The couple – who live in Surrey with kids Willow, seven, Maple, four, and Ford Senna, two – are both 40 this year and want a big celebration once Kim is finished with Dancing On Ice. “I’m so excited! 40 feels like a new lease of life,” Kim tells us.

She also admits that she’s “done with having children,” after deciding to have herself sterilised while she gave birth to Senna via a Caesarean section.

She says, “It’s time to start life all over again with my new body and celebrate that. I’m really excited to celebrate my mum body and see what it’s still got!”
