Addressing social ta-boos is the need of the hour. This is especially true when we talk about menstruation and the notions that surround it. Aditi Gupta, Co-founder and Managing Partner, Menstrupedia has decided to tackle this situation head-on in a very creative way. A lot of us have grown up reading comics and get nostalgic about some characters. Gupta decided to use this very format to educate people, particularly young girls about menstruation while addressing the taboos around it. She also has an associated blog which has more than 3000 writers, some of them as young as 12. Gupta serves as an inspiration to every woman who wants to question existing customs.
