Tailor-made for driving enthusiasts, this Figo gets some styling and suspension tweaks to justify its Sports Edition suffix.
The Ford Figo strikes a nice balance between practicality and performance, especially in diesel form, but driving enthusiasts missed the connected feel that was part of older Fords. With this Figo Sports Edition, Ford has strived to make amends.
Small but very effective cosmetic enhancements set the Sports Edition apart from the regular Figo. The front grille gets a new honeycomb effect while the headlamps now get a smoked effect. The standard Figo’s chrome details are finished in black here and the theme extends to the wing mirrors, roof and wheels. The larger, 15-inch wheels and chunkier 195/55 tyres also give the Figo a much-needed visual boost and complement the car’s sporty character well. Completing the look is a nifty new roof spoiler.
