South america’s only bear doesn’t only hail from darkest peru, but it is fond of fruit.
Found from Venezuela, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru and all the way down to Bolivia’s border with Argentina, the Andean bear is the only bear to inhabit South America.
It’s a highly adaptable mammal, able to survive in a wide range of habitats: highaltitude, moist-cloud (or montane) forests, lowland rainforests, tropical dry forests and high-altitude páramo shrublands and grasslands.

Does cloning create identical copies?
EMBRYOS ARE MADE OF STEM CELLS that divide to give rise to different types of cells, everything from skin to brain cells.
