Coffee is more than just a tasty swig—it offers some serious health perks. Moderate amounts (about three or four cups a day) are associated with a lower risk of stroke, cancer, heart disease, and type 2 diabetes, plus a longer life. And tea, especially if it’s green, has similar benefits.
The catch: Many premade coffee and tea drinks are packed with calories and sugar. So I came up with ways to flavor your morning cup without derailing your health.
