The issue features the projects of some creative designer’s award winning spaces from the GLITZ Design Honour-2019, there are some spaces that embody timeless grace and are not fettered by any period of time or any geographical location.
Bhadri and Snehal Suthar of The Grid Architects, Ahmedabad designed this unique space ROPE CAFÉ, a Terrace Café in Gandhinagar, where modernism blends with nature’s charm. Integrated with the incorporation of craft, material, method and design to reassure that natural material and Design is an inclusive way of life.
Keshav restaurant in Vadodara has been created with a focused imagination and exploration by architect Manoj Patel of Manoj Patel Design Studio. The outside architecture and interiors speaks the same language of being cohesive and enhancing the space through studying crisp details in every element through design.
While designing the office for Asian Paints in Dhaka, Bangladesh, architects duo Soumitra Majumder and Sukanta Basu of Utopian Associates from Kolkata kept in mind the connection of the brand and the gamut of colours or shades and their possibilities.
Inspired by the Ocean using art, sculpture, texture & materials Ar. Yatin Patel of DSP Design Associates designed this office for Microsoft Corporation in Mumbai. Tathastu - the wedding boutique has been designed by Mitesh Antala of RUST- the design studio from Rajkot, as an ethnic space which has lots of racial essence with modish touch.
Marici is an experience of the intangible through the tangible while as Fanattic Sports Museum is a display of collection by famous sports journalist Boria Mazumdar, both designed by Salient Design Studio from Kolkata.
Gold Abode is a showcase of rich materials integrated into fine detailing designed by Pooja Bihani of Spaces and Design, Kolkata.
