Picture-perfection comes only when every facts, every details are analyzed, examined and are taken care of properly. And only those craftsman, artist or architect can accomplish such success who are committed, determined and most importantly have perseverance. In every aspect of life, flawless, spotless and impeccable performers are there but they are a kind of rare species on this earth. The world salutes them for achieving such excellence. In this issue we have brought some projects which are of course comes closer-to-perfection.
It is a matter of pride to feature the ARCASIA Gold Medal 2017 award winning works of Architect Shirish Beri and Ar. Vo Trong Nghia, the creative geniuses, leaders in Architecture & Design, who have won many accolades and been placed at par with the best in the world today, with their own style of sustainable & green architecture, have been creating innovative design solutions.
I am most excited to present the two spaces we feature in this issue, for this time’s cover story we have the Farmhouse for Sukesh and Sudha Gandhi at Wakeshwar, Nagpur designed by the ‘Man of Nature’ Architect Shirish Beri, an ARCASIA 2017 Gold Medal winner for this best designed single family residence in Asia. And the other one Son La Restaurant, Vietnam, designed by Ar. Vo Trong Nghia, again an ARCASIA 2017 Gold Medal winner for this best designed Public Amenity Buildings – Commercial category in Asia.
The issue also features the appreciable works of some imaginative architects & interior designers located in different parts of country, Ar. Chinmaya Laiwala & Ar. Jigar Asarawala of Neogenesis+Studio261 Surat, Ar. Krishnendu Nandy of Ideaz Architectural Consultants Bhubaneswar, Ar. Shiju Pareed & Ar. Barun Patro of Amar Architecture & Designs Pvt. Ltd., Calicut, from the list of finalist entries for GLITZ Design Honour-2017; they are all ingeniously designed, meticulously planned and aesthetically outstanding.
