This year marks a whole decade of Mums & Tots magazine! To all our wonderful readers - thank you for your input and being part of our community, without you it wouldn’t be possible.

As March 21st is World Down Syndrome Day, we have a very special story from Molly’s mum Rhona Cullinan on page 16, ’Nothin Down, Only Up!’. She tells us, ‘a child with down syndrome has the same feelings and wants as every other child. They have the same emotions but are generally very good natured but don’t think they can't throw a wobbler when they want.’. When my first was born, I wished I had been more informed on what to expect - not from my newborn, but informed about how my body would feel physically and mentally in the days and weeks after child birth. As adults, we have mastered the art of speech and communication, but it has taken years of practice to learn and understand. Similarly, for children this is a life skill that they begin to learn from the day that they are born.
