Welcome to issue 132 of The GameOn Magazine!
We survived the heatwave and gamescom 2020, so
we’re back into the swing of things - not that we
ever slow our stride! We’re like a PAC-MAN made of
digital paper, never stopping our frantic pace as we
run from ghosts! Actually, ignore that last bit, we’ve
been assured the ghosts moved out of the building.
Our articles this month have a write-up of gamescom’s
opening night, in case you missed it, from Emsey.
We also have a couple of Fall Guys articles, one of
tips and one about things they should put in, from
Charles and Dane. Piotr explained his choice in VR
headset, Luke explains the basics of Terraria and
Danielle tells you about some hi-tech racers.
Our previews this month include a couple of
titles that were shown at gamescom. Gary grew a
FoxTail, Simon answered the Call of Saregnar and
Alana petted the ProtoCorgi, while Blake went into
Everspace 2. I also got an early look at Transformers:
Battlegrounds, a game that ironically includes very
little transforming.
Then we have our reviews, with some small titles
and some big ones. Adam headed down because
he was HellBound while Jamie went out despite the
Risk of Rain 2. James put on his galoshes thanks to
Ultimate Fishing Simulator while Tucker went on
A Short Hike and Richard got quite Fast & Furious
Crossroads. Finally, Charles swung at the PGA Tour
2K21, Nikki caffeinated a Necrobarista and Simon
shouted Marvel’s Avengers! That last one would have
made more sense if the game was called Avengers
Assemble, I suppose…
