What's it like?

Regularly lauded as one of the best Chinese restaurants in London, China Tang hardly needs introduction. It celebrated its 20th anniversary this year with a bold renovation bringing new life to its Art Deco interiors.

A newly emblazoned staircase makes for a spectacular entrance, leading down to the refreshed bar area, which was bustling with guests opting for a pre-dinner cocktail. I'd recommend the rum-based Mandarin Blossom, served with a kumquat garnish, or the refreshing Osmanthus Margarita with persimmon-infused tequila (both £24).
