Historic items stolen from Exeter museum

SEVENTEEN pocket watches and chronometers as well as a flintlock blunderbuss firearm attached to a bayonet were stolen when thieves forced entry into the Royal Albert Memorial Museum in Exeter.

Devon and Cornwall Police were called at around 5am on Wednesday, September 10, following the overnight burglary.
The museum was closed during the day while investigations were ongoing.
