Taking a shot to save the planet

Passion for nature and social responsibility bring top photographers together for conservation initiative

Many lensmen dream of changing the world with their photography. And when talent and nature align, the result is a remarkable and emotive collection of shots that not only win awards, but will also be the highlight of any wall they adorn.

A group of renowned environmental photographers has come together to contribute over 100 images for an annual fine-art prints sale, to support community-based conservation.

This is an initiative by women-led non-profit Vital Impacts, which was founded by National Geographic photographer Ami Vitale and visual journalist Eileen Mignoni, both award-winning artists in their fields.
