Aurora Lady Can Win Two In A Row

RACE 1 (1,650M)

8 Windicator Family has closed off strongly to fourth in two Class 5 races despite drawing outside gates. A mid-draw should be more in his favour.

1 Smiling Emperor drops into Class 5 after a luckless eighth last time. The class drop helps, but as a three-year-old giving away plenty of weight, that remains the query.

11 Verbier gets back on turf, which should suit, and he has trialled well. His on-pace profile will hold him in good stead should he receive luck from out wide.

RACE 2 (1,000M) 3 Colourful King stuck on well late to finish fifth, despite being in need of the run on his Hong Kong debut. He will strip much fitter stepping away from barrier 1 second-up.

2 Youthful Spirits is on the quick back-up after fading late over 1,200m, a trip that stretched him. He does not win out of turn, but he will give his usual sight.

5 Sparkling Fellow has shown promise in both runs at Sha Tin. He is heading in the right direction and is one to watch.

6 Watch This One's series of trials suggest he can make his presence felt in his Hong Kong debut.

RACE 3 (1,200M) 1 Power Koepp's trial was solid, and his class may just prove to be too good with Hugh Bowman in the plate from barrier 2.

5 Excellent Peers has been running well without winning and remains in the mix after charging home from barrier 11 to fourth last start. Moving into barrier 4 provides a better run in transit.

11 Lucky Blessing finished just under three lengths away in sixth last time. In an open race, he can take the next step.

8 Good Prospect is coming off back-to-back seconds and is clearly trending in the right direction with more racing.
