The family says the administration of the school at Perumanallur in Tiruppur refused admission, claiming it has full strength.
K Sridhar (16), a student of the Boys' Government Higher Secondary School at Ondipudur in Coimbatore city, has only one kidney and uses a urine bag.
His parents sought his transfer to a school near their native place due to his health condition.
He stays with his aged grandparents at Kamatchipuram in Ondipudur.
His mother, K Gayathri, a garment company worker in Perumanallur, told TNIE that his left kidney was removed when he was one-and-a-half years old due to kidney failure.
