Two Pick 6 bankers at the Vaal

There looks to be two possible exotic bankers for bettors at the Vaal tomorrow which is good news, especially for the Pick 6, because some of the other legs are real stinkers.

The runners that stand out are Bjorn Ironside in Race 4 and Mamlambo in Race 7.

Johan Janse van Vuuren-trained Bjorn Ironside contests a Graduation Plate over 1000m and comes into the race as the best handicapped runner.

The son of Gimmethegreenlight was considered good enough to make the trip to the Western Cape where he took on the likes of One Strip in the Grade 1 Cape Guineas. Unfortunately, nothing went right, from a slow start to pulling up short, but it also indicated that 1600m was probably too far and a return to sprints has brought up some good results.
