Seventh train operator joins Great British Railways group
The Government is half way towards its plans to renationalise the UK rail network.
Greater Anglia - which is operated by the Transport UK Group and runs trains in Norfolk, Suffolk, Essex, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire - became the seventh of 14 train operating companies to be taken into public ownership on Sunday.
South Western Railway became the first operator brought into public ownership by the Labour Government in May.
