Meddling Euro judges take on case of jihadi bride Shamima Begum losing her citizenship

SHAMIMA Begum’s UK return bid was revived as Strasbourg judges challenged Britain’s stance on the jihadi bride.
Shamima Begum fled the UK aged 15 to become an Isis bride; below, in Syrian detention camp Jenrick, left, said the case is another reason to quit the ECHR
Her lawyers welcomed the “opportunity” as the European Court of Human Rights demanded the Home Office justify its decision to strip the Islamic State fanatic of her British citizenship.
The court asked the government whether it broke human rights and anti-trafficking laws — which is Begum’s key legal argument.
This will reignite fears that UK court rulings upholding Begum’s exclusion could be overruled and she could eventually be allowed to return to the UK.
Shadow Justice Secretary Robert Jenrick told the Daily Express the Strasbourg intervention underlined why Britain must leave the European Convention on Human Rights, which is upheld in member states by the ECtHR.
