Shoretire showing he has bright future

SHOLA Shoretire has already made an impressive early impact on pre-season.

He looked good as the Reds got their pre-season campaign up and running in satisfactory fashion with a 2-0 victory over Leeds in Oslo on Wednesday.

Erik Ten Hag fielded different line-ups in each half, handing summer signing Mason Mount his debut following his transfer from Chelsea.

Shoretire was part of the team which took to the pitch after the break, when the game was still goalless. That changed in the second half as goals from Noam Emeran and Joe Hugill proved the difference, with Shoretire picking up an assist for the latter's goal.
