Tanginoa heads for exit at the Red and Whites

HULL KR have confirmed the early release of forward Kelepi Tanginoa with immediate effect to take up an opportunity with a Super League rival for 2026 and beyond.

The 31-year-old has spent the last two seasons at Sewell Group Craven Park after arriving from Wakefield Trinity, going on to make 59 appearances for the Robins, scoring 16 tries.

As reported by the Warrington Guardian last week, he is set to join Sam Burgess' Wolves for the 2026 season and become the club's seventh new addition at the Halliwell Jones Stadium.

Tanginoa had a year remaining on his contract at Rovers, but has been granted an early release to secure a longer-team deal.

He played a key role in Hull KR 's treble-winning campaign with 29 appearances, including from the bench in the Challenge Cup Final triumph over Warrington.
