Under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, U the Government is committed to providing Jammu and Kashmir (J&K) with an exceptional transportation infrastructure. According to the reports, 790 projects worth Rs3,406 crore have been sanctioned during the last three years for road connectivity.

Today, J&K stands at third position nationally in terms of road length under the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY).

So far, 2,967 PMGSY projects, covering 17,798 km and connecting 2,096 habitations, have been successfully completed.
