KK Birla debate on societal role in crime concludes

Ramjas College bagged the first prize in the KK Birla Memorial Hindi Debate, held at Delhi University's Hindu College on Monday. The debate, on the topic "Apraadh vyakti nahi, samaaj karta hai (crime is committed by society, not individuals)", saw the participation of 22 two-member teams from across DU colleges.

The debate was organised by the KK Birla foundation, in collaboration with Hindu College, and was judged by Dr Rekha Sethi from the Hindi department of Indraprastha College, Dr Sunil Joshi from the Sanskrit department of Hindu College, and Naushad Ali from the Hindi department of Hindu College. Dr Suresh Rituparna, director of KK Birla foundation, was the chief guest at the event.
