Kharge hits out at BJP, says it's dividing society

Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge on Saturday hit out at the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), accusing its leaders of giving "divisive speeches".
Addressing a press conference in Nagpur city of Maharashtra, where elections will be held on November 20, Kharge sought to counter Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath's slogan of "batenge toh katenge" as he said that several Congress leaders have laid down their lives to unite the country and any leader working towards ensuring that unity will not pass such remarks.
Citing a newspaper article, Kharge said he read that RSS favoured the slogan of "batenge toh kitenge" being raised by the Uttar Pradesh CM. "BJP leaders give inciting speeches and speak lies and divert people's attention from core issues."
