Orry Booked in Katra for Allegedly Consuming Alcohol near Vaishno Devi

Social media personality Orhan Awatramani, aka Orry, has been booked for allegedly consuming alcohol at a hotel in Katra, the base camp for the pilgrimage to Mata Vaishno Devi shrine, Jammu and Kashmir police said on Monday.

An FIR was registered against Orry and seven others on Saturday under BNS section 223 (disobeying an order given by a public servant) after Katra police received a complaint that a group of guests staying at a hotel were found consuming alcohol.
Orry had posted a video on Instagram Stories featuring himself and his friends in Katra. Bottles of liquor were visible in the clip.
