LONDON is set to bask in 32C heat with temperatures in the high 20s for most of the week.
The capital will enjoy “very warm, locally hot weather” over the next few days, the Met Office said, with a heatwave on the cards.
A high of 28C was predicted for today, with tomorrow set to the hottest day of the year so far if the mercury reaches 32C.
The temperature reached 31.9C at St James’s Park in central London on July 19, beating the previous record high for 2024, 30.5C recorded in Wisley, Surrey, on June 26.
