Warning to prepare a survival kit for 3 days

HOUSEHOLDS should have a survival kit to sustain them for at least three days, says a defence source.

With the country increasingly reliant on other countries for essentials such as gas, experts say the UK could quickly become cut off in the event a major pipeline is attacked by an enemy, such as Russia.

Earlier this year millions across the UK were warned they could face blackouts.
