Bristol Post
|September 15, 2025
ROMAN Glass St George stand three points clear at the top of the Hellenic League Premier Division with a 2-0 victory at Hereford club Westfields.
Unbeaten Roman Glass, now with eight wins and two draws to their name, were indebted to second-half strikes from Charlie Boorman and Conor Hartley for their latest three points. Boorman scored following a corner, and Hartley made it 2-0 three minutes later after he rounded the goalkeeper.
Mid-table Mangotsfield United drew 0-0 at Cinderford Town, but Hallen’s struggles continued with a 3-0 defeat at Longlevens, who led 1-0 at halftime.
Thornbury Town drew 2-2 in a derby at home to Cribbs. George Kellow put Cribbs ahead in the 61st minute. Callum Chalmers headed home a Harry Brock cross for a 75th-minute equaliser, and Brock put the hosts in front a few minutes later. However, Buster Reed rescued a point for Cribbs with an 86th-minute strike.
