The defender suffered a hamstring injury during Villa's defeat at Liverpool earlier this month.
He had replaced Pau Torres in the second half, with Villa a couple of goals behind at Anfield, but was forced to leave the pitch before full-time after picking up the muscle problem.
Mings has made eight appearances across all competitions this season and within minutes of beating Tottenham earlier this season, and he warned his players against any complacency this weekend.
“T am not feeling favour-ite playing a Premier League match because I know that if we are thinking that this is easier than we can prepare, we are not going to play in our 100 per cent” Emery insisted.
“It is necessary to start winning the match, because even then you can lose.
