Thais take festive spirit to Osaka World Expo

The Thai pavilion proved to be a popular stop among exhibition-goers on the first day of the World Exposition in Osaka on Sunday.

The kingdom, with its contingent dressed in colourful clothing to mark the start of Songkran, was one of 158 countries represented at the event.

The Thai exhibit is in Area A13 within the Connecting Lives Zone. It showcases wellness and full-fledged health services, including local wisdom and traditional medicines, among others.

Pavilion manager Kampanat Pitakpinichnan said the Thai exhibit shows ways people can improve their well-being and offers solutions to those people who have become more health conscious after the Covid-19 pandemic.

“Thailand can demonstrate its unique perspective and local wisdom on health and well-being,” he told the BT beartai YouTube channel.
