When tradition evolves with a quiet burst of colour, and warmth gets translated into wooden decor, you get a gorgeous yet soulful home in Bangalore

RETURN TO THE ROOTS

The Varnam Edit isn't just a project—it's a homecoming. For Bhagya Devi and her daughter, Kavya, the vision wasn't about trends, it was about grounding, grace, and continuity. As a mother and daughter beginning a new chapter in the city, their bond and shared values shaped the emotional core of the space. What makes them special is their clarity, knowing what matters, and creating a home that reflects just that. Therefore, every decision was layered with intention—every tile, every pillar, every colour choice. It's rare to collaborate with clients who are so connected to their roots and yet so open to contemporary interpretations. This home is a tribute to their journey, their heritage, and their unshakable spirit.

Starting Point

The brief was to design a home that is bold, grounded, and aspirational, rooted deeply in South Indian tradition while accommodating a modern way of life. The homeowners wanted a well-ventilated, emotionally resonant space, something that felt authentically theirs, reflecting both legacy and evolution.
