In this soul-stirring interview, she opens up about her hybrid journey, the deeper essence of yoga, and why being strong and serene isn’t just possible, it’s powerful.
You've beautifully bridged two seemingly opposite worldsyoga and weightlifting. What sparked this hybrid path?
My journey into combining yoga and weightlifting began unintentionally. While teaching fitness classes, I decided to try yoga and quickly realized how well the two practices complement each other. Though they seem opposite, they create a powerful balance.
Was there a turning point where yoga became more than just a practice?
There wasn’t a single defining moment—it was an evolution. I started with the physical aspect, but over time, I developed a deeper understanding of yoga’s principles. Gradually, those teachings began to shape how I live, helping me create a more peaceful, intentional life.
