These are exciting times for Jess Glynne, who treated fans to a surprise, intimate acoustic gig at the Hawley Arms in London’s Camden last week, ahead of her UK tour next summer.

Among those cheering from the crowd was Alex Scott, the BBC broadcaster and former Arsenal and England footballer, with whom Jess has been romantically linked. The pair were spotted getting out of a taxi together outside the popular pub, with Alex, 39, dressed in a cropped top and boots and Jess, 34, wearing a pair of customised jeans and a jacket.

Returning to her old stamping ground as she took to the stage at the venue, one of the late Amy Winehouse’s favourite pubs, the flame-haired singer showcased some of the songs from her forthcoming album, including new single Friend of Mine.
