The GLITZ Design Honour 2024, commemorating 11 glorious years, was a grand success, made even more special by the presence of our Guest of Honour, Dean D’Cruz. Dean’s exceptional contributions to architecture, sustainability, and education were rightfully recognized as he was bestowed with the Lifetime Achievement Honour, a testament to his enduring legacy and vision. Adding to the grandeur of the evening was the insightful keynote address by Kalapi Buch and Maitri Buch, who captivated us with their exploration of Muzitecture: Svarkruti, a poetic blend of Indian classical music and architecture. Another proud moment was the launch of Prof. Christopher Benninger’s highly anticipated book, Great Expectations: Notes to an Architect, a treasure trove of wisdom and reflections from his illustrious five-decade career. The overwhelming response to the GLITZ Design Honour Awards 2024 was a testament to the ever-growing influence of this platform in nurturing creativity and innovation. The winning projects, featured in this issue, reflect the unparalleled talent and vision of architects and designers across the nation. This year, we continue our commitment to showcasing the transformative power of design while embracing the promise of new beginnings.
