Man admits killing his 'extraordinary' wife

A MAN has admitted killing his wife after her body was discovered in a house by police who had been called out due to concerns for their welfare.
Michael Davies, 57, entered a guilty plea to a count of manslaughter, but continues to deny murder.
Tracey Davies, 48, was found dead at a property in Cefn Cribwr, near Bridgend, on April 18.
Michael Davies was arrested at the scene and later charged with his wife's murder.
Appearing at Newport Crown Court yesterday, Davies, of Cefn Road, entered a guilty plea to a count of manslaughter.
He denies murdering his wife, on the grounds of diminished responsibility.
